Saline Tattoo Removal

Saline tattoo removal is a form of lightening an unwanted pre-existing cosmetic tattoo. It is an alternative to laser tattoo removal, that uses a saline solution to draw out the tattooed pigment in the skin. This solution is tattooed into the skin & pulls out the pigment, forming a scab on the surface of the skin. Over a week, this scab will continue to pull out the pigment from the skin.

Multiple sessions at 8 weeks apart are recommended in order to achieve the best results. Anywhere between 1 to 5 sessions may be needed. In most cases, only 3 will be required. It ultimately comes down to a number of factors, such as the colour, depth, age of the tattoo, as well as the client’s skin type.
